“One of my favorite ‘what if’ projects,” Michael
says. “I call it the F-20C. It represents what might have been if the F-20
Tigershark had been selected for U.S. Air Force service. This is Monogram’s
1/48 kit with some added antennas from the spares box for an electronics
upgrade the F-20 might have gotten.” Michael painted with Testors Model Master
Acryl and used decals from Twobob’s OIF Vipers sheet to assign the jet to the
77th Fighter Squadron out of Shaw AFB in South Carolina. “Definitely one of my
favorite nonexistent aircraft in the world,” Michael says.
