Reginald Francia, San Jose, California
Reginald’s wife, Joanne, writes: “This is my husband’s work. I saw FSM and found out about the Reader Gallery. Why not submit a picture, I will ask him, and he'll always reply that it’s not good enough. But I think it is. So, I am submitting this without his knowledge, and if it appears it will surprise him. Here's the description: Tamiya 1/32 scale A6M5 Zero, built out of the box, no priming; one coat of Alclad II aluminum, then Tamiya paint. Paint chipping achieved using adhesive tape. It’s weathered with Promodeller black wash.”
You were right, ma'am - his work IS good enough. He did a really nice job on the weathering.
