“Dale Earnhardt Jr. is one of my favorite drivers,” says David, who told us he used an AMT 1/25 scale snap kit to model No. 88 in its “The Dark Knight Rises” scheme. “I used the nose conversion set from Mobay Designs, scratchbuilt all the roll cage with wire insulation for roll-bar padding, reshaped the fuel filler, and used decals from Powerslide.”
