“I’m proud to say I worked on this aircraft from 1981-83,” says Bill, a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant. Revell’s F-106A was Bill’s first 1/48 scale model. It’s marked for the 49th FIS, which was based at Griffiss Air Force Base in Rome, where Bill still lives.
