**NEWS** - 1/35 AH-6J and MH-6J Little Birds coming from Kitty Hawk
Posted by HeavyArty on Thursday, April 21, 2016 9:15 AM

Kitty Hawk has announced the impending release of two new Little Birds in 1/35th.  The first is an AH-6J which will be followed up by the MH-6J.  These kits will have complete interiors and engine compartments.  The CAD has been developed from actual -10s, the operator's manual for those not in the US Army, real aircraft and first hand accounts.

The AH-6J will include two M-134s, two M-260 seven shot FFAR pods, an optional GAU-19 gun, and MFDs in the cockpit.

The MH-6J will have the common type of operator bench along with the early FRIES system.

If these sell well there will be more helicopters in this scale.  Kitty Hawk is already working on at least four other helicopters, many on your short lists.  It is going to be good to be a helicopter modeler.

Looks great.  I might get one of these to go with my 1/48 MH-60 160th SOAR build, when I get around to actually starting it (no room or patience for a 1/35 MH-60 to match the scale though)...
