Papa it's not necessary to enter the 400 x 500 I was merely suggesting that you can use one or the other as a fixed size to your images.. Just use 400 or 500 in the first slot and leave the secodn slot empty.

As for the link.. FSM doesn't recognize hyphenated hype links or abbreviated links.. You need to right click on the image and say "Open in new window" once this happens you will see a new browser tab open with the correct link. IE:

The link to the image https://ibb.co/3BGXnn8 But it is not the image code.

This is the image code: https://i.ibb.co/hDh5SSn/20200421-212803.jpg

I achieved this code by right clicking on the image in the shortened link which open a separate tab in my browser extracted the link form there.

Ok I entered the image code and still all I get is a little link window instead of a full size image.  I entered a description and put 400 x 500 in the correct spaces but still the same results.

This should be fairly simple.

I feel kinda sheepish.

This is the code / address I am getting from my image site:

https://ibb.co/3BGXnn8

It seems to work well as a link here ...I must be doing something wrong. Ugh!

Thanks guys! When I get home from work I will check it out.

Can anyone recommend a free image sharing app or site?

Thanks in advance.

When one is ready to attach or upload a hyperlinked image from an offsite storage site, Click the small "picture" icon:

Then locate the image "URL" or hyperlink and paste this into the source slot:

In this case I'm linking images taken while in screen shot then added to my photo storage site.

Here's the image hyperlink or URL:

https://5e70a831209ed.site123.me/sculptures-miniatures/squirrel-netsuke

Add that source code into the correct slot. You can add adiscription if needed that add a fixed size. Typiclaly adding a fixed size would keep the image within the confines of the text area. But I perefe to add 400 or 500 just in the first slot then click ok.

Here's the end result:

After you psot the image, typiclaly the image will end up or allign on the left side of the page. I prefer to align the image in the cneter of the page. This can be done using the alignment icon within the top tool tray.

The main thing is to have or know the image hyperlink code. Typclaly this can be done when you open the link to your images and right click on said image. Copy then paste the code in the sosurce slot as mentioned above. However, Some storage sites (in order to protect image privicy) will not allow others to copy and paste images off site. There could be a setting within your storage site to adjust this.

Yes, you need to have a photo host like PhotoBork-It, Flickr, etc.  It comes down to cost for FSM to have to host people’s photos.  The thing is that each hosting site has their own set of idiosyncrasies which you need to learn.

I click on the image symbol but as all I get is a window asking for "source"

Do I need a separate online photo sharing tool?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
