Hey guys!!!

I've been thinking and thought I would ask what you all would like to see come out in after market goodies for the Trump HOOKs!?!?

Personaly for me I'd like to see a MH-47E/G conversion set and a A/ACH-47A GO GO Bird set!!! Resin details for the A and Delta's would be nice too!!!

Send in your thoughts on this!!!
I'd sure like to hear them!!!Wink [;)]Cool [8D]

Who knows!!! The right people might read this and deliver!!!!Wink [;)]

I'd like to see Cobra Company deliver on a MH-47E/G conversion and a detail set for both the A and D model chinooks. I'm sure Eduard Accessories or Parts is going to do a couple photoetched metal sheets (interior and exterior) for Trump's Hook. Um, a modern set of figures would be excellent, too.

Agree with both on the MH-47E/G conversion and on the figure sets.

Nemrod makes a modern Blackhawk crew.
There are two sets one with two figures(one kneeling and one standing) and one with four figures (seated pilot and navigator, door gunner/crew chief and a PJ).

Here is a topic all about helo crews in 1/35

Why is it that everyone wants the versions that were built in the least numbers? (ACH-47A and MH-47E) must be the "Guns/Rockets piled on an aircraft make it cool" factor.

Personally I'd settle for a nice set up for the interior of a C or D. or maybe even a Boeing 234.

Since we don't know what is going to be included in the interior.( or at least I couldn't tell from the test shots.) I will take a wait and see attitude on this one.

I'd really just like to see an accurate interior that correctly shows the "mass of spaghetti" that is the hydraulic lines next to the rear door!

If you think there is a bunch of hydraulic lines on CH-47Ds you should have seen what it was like on As and Cs! Most of it on the starboard side at the ramp. It has been reduced by at least a third of what it used to be.

Now if you really want to have fun, let the utility system pressure bleed off and try to recharge it using the hand operated pump. We used to call it the "P.T." stick because of the amount of exertion required to charge the system back to 3000 psi.

Hmmm... I don't know, maybe it's because they are such a unique part of the Chinook lineage? I remember the day we had the dedication for "Easy Money" down at Redstone Arsenal, with 35 of the former "Guns A Go-Go" crew & families... and by the time they got started, there were well over 1500 people crowded around the old Gunship!

The ACH-47's numbers were small, but their contribution was great.

Well, I'm figuring on about 12 or 13 pieces of sheet styrene and a few SHARP hobby knifes either way you look at it. Smile [:)] Personally, I'd love to get into scratching an even rarer example of the Chinook, the winged "Model 347"! Woo Hoo! Wink [;)]

Maybe we'll have to stock up on plenty of #2 fishing line and candles to stretch some spru? Wink [;)] Big Smile [:D]

Take care all,
