Its my pleasure! It's also the least I could do. It takes a lot of guts to leave home, go through basic training/OCS, complete it, and then put your life on the line for the good of our country. I have the utmost respect for that, my only regret is that health problems kept me out of the service. I take consolation for that in trying to learn as much as I can about the military and its history.
On a lighter note, I've found a kit purchasing "loophole". As I'm sure you guys know, I get the "look" from the wife with every purchase of new kits. Now, since I'll be donating the kits I'll probably never get to, I'll be replacing them on the shelves with new kits (1/72 planes).
The wife will never see a difference in the number of kits on the shelves.
I'll get to buy new kits unpunished.
Our service members will have some kits to build. (I've got about 200 car kits that would take me the better part of a century and a half to build...they gotta go! If you know any service members that are into cars, let me know...)
It's the perfect crime! lol
