1/48 British infantry Diorama
Posted by Huxy on Sunday, August 17, 2008 3:53 PM

A small, tiny diorama I'm making for, I think, 3 British infantrymen from Tamiyas package. The ground gravel were sandcoloured, but I painted it more greenish.. Ho do you think that turned out?  And how did the brick wall turn out?

Constructive feedback is very needed :)

Green gravel?  Where have you ever seen it?  I'd go with a greyish tan instead... The wall looks good, but rather too good a shape for a combat zone.  I'd suggest using the ol' Dremel and gouge a few chips in the face of it from bullets/shrapnel...

I say it's more like ground, without high grass :)

And it's not supposed to be a combat zone. More like an abandoned place in a city...

Hmmm...I'm not loving the green gravel, Huxy. I'd cover it with some static grass and THEN spray it in various dull greens--that green is also a bit garishly bright.

Otherwise, the first thing people will say is....."is that green gravel?!?"
