I definately think your dios have some "wow" factor in them, primarily because of their size...but I have to say that the devil is in the details...your buildings and general groundwork have an overscale, grainy texture to them...your exposed bricks are also too large for scale...the poster on the wall looks to be photocopied as I can see the pixels, you already pointed out your shortcomings as a figure painter, etc...

I don't want to come across as too negative as you obviously have a great passion for the hobby and seem to enjoy what you do. I noticed your signature line at the bottom of your posts---do you build these for a living?

Remember, its also good to give feedback on the Forum, not just receive it.

That's it... You gotta start writing a primer on buildings...

Thanks Doog,this is an older building,not as good or accurate as my newer stuff. Glad you like it. The German idea is a very good idea..

MR, I don't think you are coming off as negative. You are coming off as a critic. Comments make me a better builder. Again, this diorama is another older one prior to my breakthrough. I will find some of my newest buildings to post so I can get you critics to shut up. LOL. Just kidding. You will be able to comment on the new stuff also. This diorama was originally made for a 1/32 figure. I took him out for some reason and replaced him with the two smaller 1/35 figures. That's the story.

I do sell a lot of my buildings and diorama work but it is still considered a hobby.
I just finished a bombed out European style stone bridge for a major toy soldier manufacturer which will be shown at a show in Chicago on Sept. 28th. It will be released for resale on or before Christmas. Only 100 will be made. A true collectable. Cool. That's all that I can say about it until it comes out.
Oh, the bridge is larger than 1/35 scale but 1/35 tanks will look pretty good on it.

I really enjoy your work as well.  I cant say that The buildings are my favorite, they always seem... Im not quite sure how to put it.  They dont seem like they would look right if they wernt damaged.  But as far as I'm concerned, your a master of rubble
