Here's pictures I took while I was building it.

Here's pictures of 'Cruise Night' at the diner.

.....and there was a big car show in town over the weekend....

I'm finished having too much fun. Time to get back to building.
Thanks for looking!

Once again, Dave, you come up with something totally cool and detailed-to-death--I love it!

What scale is all of that? Is it all 1/25? Do you build all those cars, or are they diecast?

And what are the figures?

It's a very cool little (big!) scene!

Hey Doog. Thanks! It's HO (1/87 scale). I built a few of the cars. Some are diecast, some are plastic.

Very cool, Dave. Looks too busy for my taste... the diner, that is. Not the scene. I'm afraid I would have to keep on drivin' to find my pancakes Laugh [(-D]

Another great block of Davetown. Can I order some Patti Cakes? Your handing of the asphalt in this build is outstanding.

The monster truck in the parking lot reminds me od a personal ad I read in the LA Times: Man into Monster trucks and WWF seeks woman into same....

Really well done... I'd only offer one piece of advice.  Never build anything parallel to the edges of the base...  Even if the subject is at right angles to everything else on it, skew the scene 10-20 degrees at least... It really adds to the 'snapshot" effect...

Thanks! The reason I keep my roads parallel to the edges of the base because my dioramas connect together. So far I have 10 sections built.
