For Fuller's Earth trivia..........

A trench built on a soundstage during filming of "The Wizard of Oz" was filled with the stuff that could be churned up to look like wind-whipped dirt in miniature.

I always told my guys that they didn't have to follow my instruction or advice, they were free to make their own threat assessments...   But I did suggest that they all make me the beneficiary for their SGLI (that's Servicemembers Group Life Insurance, for you civilian-types, worth up to a quarter million buck at the time)) before we deployed...

THe plus side of the job was that nobody really knew what I did, so I wrote my own ticket around there, takin' off to go "meet" with other NBC NCO's, or go to "Battalion" and such, or just hangin' out in the room...

Only time I really ever saw the First Sergeant or the Commander was formation or mask-draw, lol...

It is an Indy fan site, but they use FE for "Authentic" weathering of their cloths and hat's.

They usually have resources for all the items used listed with links.

Kitty Litter is also refered to as Fullers Earth on the packaging.
