Porsh in the Lab
Posted by Masaligo on Friday, January 30, 2009 11:36 AM

Hello

This is the first diorama I did 2 years ago. The tittle is:

The Porsh in the Lab

or

Give me wings and I will fly away.

The scale is 1:24 and I used the Porsh from Tamiya and Fugimi figurines. Most of the furnitures, tools and appliances i the lab are scratch built. I used electroluminescent wire under the car to simulate the antigravity field generator.

Heh, that's sweet... I love the Post-it notes on the monitor.. Nowhere NEAR the number I have on mine, but a nice touch nonethe less!

Speaking of the monitor, am I seeing things, or is it running with the cord unplugged?

No all the wires are there. It is plugged. What you see next to the monitor is an old style mouse with a long cable. I probably made the cable too thick.Sign - Oops [#oops] Thinking of it, I should have made it wireless.Smile [:)].

Next time I will do better.

I think its a great dio.  A really good concept (I dont do autos, but was gona check it out just because there are rarley any auto dios, much to my suprise, its an auto/scifi)  you really caught the feel of the lab, it looks like, well, a lab, not like a fake mockup model of a lab.  The finish on the car is very nice, Id love to see some more shots of her.
