Karl,

That's really nice that you made something which is, from conception to execution, totally and exclusively "about" and for, Jenn.

I guess I am just a big softie, but I think it is great that you two have each other.

Oh, I like the diorama, too.

Thanks, Brian, Lasse, and Bill!

It probably won't win any trophies, but eh, who the heck cares! The smile she gave me was worth a "Gold" and more! Big Smile [:D]

Extremely cool little dio...a few things:

1) More pics!!! There isn't even a good one of the coolest horse (the black and white one)...

2) You have her in the "loader's hatch" instead of the "commander's hatch"...don't let her know that...lol...

3) How'd ya make the figure of Jenn?

Thanks, Manny, yeah, I know that she's in the loader's hatch, but that's the one we both got to go into, so it is more relevant for her.

The "Jenn" figure is a Preisser pre-painted figure, but of course, I painted it over. I even sculpted it to be much thinner, as Jenn is 6 feet tall and lanky. ANd of course, she had to have a pink shirt! Big Smile [:D]

I'll try to get more pics up later..

Awesome, overall a great job...that B&W horse is really painted well...you have a knack for replicating patterns like that...

Does it have a title?  If not, how about: "Leopard and horses"...

That's a good idea, Manny--but actually, I did "name" it--"Morgen, pferden!"--that's just what I pictured her saying ot the big doogs. We had a thing, in Germany, we'd always say "MOOOOOOORGEN!!" ("morning!") when we woke up, so it's again, another little "clue" for her, personally! Blush [:I]

Those patterns aren't hard to do--I just use a "Horse Breeds" reference book. Smile [:)]

Cool diorama idea Doog.  You're such a romantic.  If it were mine I would have had the gun pointing at the 'big doogs' and then received a black eye upon presenting it. Black Eye [B)]Clown [:o)]  Seriously, cool build and I'm glad she liked it. Thumbs Up [tup]Thumbs Up [tup]
