Thank you for the vote of confidence. However, I am a slow builder and I could not possibly churn out model as fast as AI or Tuk can. But I will try to visit your collection if ever I can go to Thailand again.

Thanks and don't worry. With the coming Holy Week, I will have more time to work on this diorama. 

I think the dark colors stood out because the major colors are very light as well as the background and the scene is pretty much bare. But that is OK because once I add the models, figures, debris and dust effects, it should suppress the loud colors.

Well all I can say is that I really love building dioramas. And it is nice to know that I am improving each time I build one. Problem is I have very little time for the hobby at the moment due to work and family. So I just try to maximize whatever little time I can spend on it.

I agree with the rest - your diorama scratchbuilding work is fantastic!  I can never weather buildings in a way that makes them look very realistic.

The dio is inspired by the movie "Enemy at the Gates". There was a scene there about the German sniper having his shoe cleaned... but the scene in this dio is quite different.
