Hey!  Somebody else from SW Missouri!!  Yeah, I've looked there a few times, but haven't found exactly what I'm looking for, but they usually have nice stuff at really decent prices!  PM on the way.

Look in the back of FSM in the Classified section, there are usually some companies who offer custom built display cases.  Or look in the phone book for some glass or trophy making companies, they too (oftentimes) make custom display cases.

The plexiglass kind for just the model.  Sorry, should have clarified.

Do you mean a plexiglass display case for just the model or a standing, china cabinet-type display case?

For the model-sized plexiglass style, there are companies out there that you can have custom build you one.

For the china cabinet or curio style, you can sometimes find ones at discount/furniture liquidator companies (one example near me is FFO--Furniture Factory Outlet).  They sell these at discounted prices.  Or you can buy one brand new.

Help with display cases

Hi.

My father recently passed away, and was an avid model builder as I am.  It's something we did together when I was a kid, and it's a big part of my childhood.

I have a handful of his models I'd like to keep, but don't really have a good way to display them.

One of the kits is a tall Apollo rocket (I think it was made by Airfix?) and it's one of my favorites.  Currently, it's hanging from his basement ceiling, as if it had just launched and was seperating its various stages.

I'd like to get a nice display case for it, but don't know who makes or sells them.

 Any advice?

Gary
