Well if you think it isn't going to be shaken around or shipped across the country you could just try gluing it to the base.  You could use hot glue or wood glue...maybe?  Otherwise I would have to agree with the other posts.

You can drill through the metal hull just like a plastic one to put a screw to hold it to the base, just drill the hole before you start adding the plastic parts so they wont break off while you are holding it.

G'day all.

I have a problem. I have begun my first diorama base. Just a small one. I will use either my Tamiya 1/48 Panther G or Sturmgeschutz III Ausf. G. But I recently got struck with the question "how am I going to bond it to the base" after I remembered that the hull/s are metal so I can't drill it to put a screw in it.

Any suggestions?
