Turned out really nice Bob! I'm lovin' it but I have to agree, the area behind the gun needs to be roughed up a bit. Those guns were quite heavy IWI and even on hard ground, there'd be some wheel tracks etc there.

Thanks,
Kevin Keefe

Very nicely done M1. If I can say one thing, the area immediately behind the gun seems a bit untrampled so to speak.Hobnail boots must be a little rough on the turf one would think. Just my humble opinion my friend,as I said ,very nicely done!!!YesYesCool

Hey Bob!

Your first diomara looks great! Yes I haven't built one yet and I am sure it won't be as nice as yours!  Your first diomara will always be remembered... just like your first girlfriend. Big Smile

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

Your first dio, wow, that is very very nice. Theres only one comment i would make. Not sure if its intentional or not and it is only a petty point. You have SS troops in an army truck. I guess it wouldn't be impossable, but thats the one thing that stands out for me.

Awsome work, look forward to your aircraft.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Happy?  HAPPY??  From the pics you posted, I'd say you should be more than happy.  For your first dio, I'd say that is darn fine.

One comment and one question:

First, the comment - I think the muzzle cover has a lanyard that is intended to allow it to dangle when the gun is in action (then again, as I think it through, a few shots would probably snap that lanyard off, so... Confused)

And the question - do you have any more close up photos of the Krupp?

Really nice work, Bob.  Well done.
