Amazing!
I'd be the first to acknowledge the quality of the work, but isn't it customary for others to extend their congratualtions before the lucky contributor seeks their praise? That probably explains the low response rate.
That certainly look like some place where I'd love to live,Bodge.Nice work.
I must be lucky then as i have had mine since the start of last week.
I was looking at that Dio, lovely work. Deffinatly an incentive to build a nice big 72nd scene.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Dio of what? That first shot looks way too real! You've mastered the key element...randomness. Let's see more online.
Normandy? Looks like rural Alabama.
Great job! Love them trees! Post more pics with more angles!
I was just looking at it last night Bodge, very nice work.

Cheers you guys hope you like the article, I still havnt seen it in the mag.
Fast Heinz i didnt seek praise mate just sharing my excitement so think what you want . I model to share like it or not im not bothered.
I noticed after i posted that you started this thread a week or so ago. Have you got your mag yet and seen it for yourself.
Congrats on making the mag.
I just got mine yesterday and saw it in there. It's a really good article.
Bodge, You gotta let us know when an event like that occurs. Some of us knuckleheads might not associate a magazine name with a forum avatar/nickname. Amazing looking dio. Don't feel bad, I haven't received my mag here in Indiana, mere hours from Wisconsin. Rick
my mag is late to..
Just got my copy yesterday, congrads!
Got to agree the groundwork and models look great but I love how the houses and bridge came out. They look better than 97 percent of buildings I've seen in much larger scales.

Thank you
I am truly inspired.
Received my issue a few weeks ago! I am amazed at how quickly it finds lill' ol' Nova Scotia.
Yes must agree the build and article are truly inspired work. People need to venture into 1/72 scale as the newer releases are very close in accuracy and detail to their 1/48 & 1/35 scale counter parts.
Not to mention scenery is easier as model RR supplies pass well in 1/72 scale.
I called you out HERE when it came out, Andy--great work; I was thrilled to see you get the recognition you deserved!
Thanks again guys ,glad you all liked it
Happy Xmas
Loved your diorama when I saw it in the mag, love it even more seeing these pics. Probably one of the most life-like I've ever seen!
Scorpiomikey Thats a dio? sure you didnt just walk out into the countryside and take some photos?
Top notch work! Probably the most realistic diorama I've ever seen.

Gratz on your article, Bodge! The top photo looks especially realistic! I'm very interested in how you created the willow in the background.
I went poking around the craft shop looking for the hanging pot liners this weekend. Do you have a picture of the material that you used in it's raw form? I'd like to compare it to what I found.
Thanks!
matt
