Black light, incandescent light: shadowbox question.

I'm dreaming up a shadowbox, and thought it would be nice to have black light to make certain areas painted with flourescent paints to glow. But would also like to have a small incandescent light to light up the inside.
Does anyone know if the incandescent light will cancel out the effects of the black light? i.e. can you make the areas painted with flourescent paints glow via black light and still have a small incandescent light shining without completely ruining the effect?
Thanks,
DJ
