kitty litter for a tarmac

i used it once. it may need to be painted or over sprayed a bit. just make sure you dont get the litter with the blue odor blocking crystals! a mistake i made.

Hey there duckman..... I just completed my first diorama. It is An a-10 on a tarmac in Kuwait. Unfortunately, I don' t have pics yet....hopefully soon. It is 1/48 scale, so it is pretty big.......I used celluclay (drywall filler) watered down pretty thin...I made a mistake and it was mixed too thin, but I poured it over my base and "carved" ashphalt lines into it with a piece of sprue. I then used white glue to cover the lines (like tar repair). I used a feather to paint on cracks. I painted the whole thing using different shades to get weathered appearance.
