Modeling Water???

damn...i forgot where it was....i think it the ship thread....there was a cool looking water base for the IOWA i think. i saw it somewhere if i remember i'll post it.

Well, although I didn't ask the question, it appears the Enviro Tex may be just what I'm looking for, for my ongoing Titanic diorama, which should be at the "just add water" stage within the next month some time. Thank you very much!

Well howdy!

I'm a model railroader with more intrest in modeling than just the trains. There is a product we use to make scale water sceans, and I think it's what your looking for. It's called Enviro Tex and is normally used as a clear plastic coating for table tops and pictures. Us model train nuts use it to create everything from rivers to oceans. With a little practice you can make waves as it cures and it looks quite real.

Get yourself in touch with local modelers, there's plenty of clubs in Belgium (do a search on IPMS Belgium, you'll find the contact details of the branches, for a start). They tell you where to go.
