Check this link and run through the slide show. There are some good pics of German tanks there.

The Germans used everything they had available. SP's, tanks etc. On the most part, as far as tanks go, it was Panther V's, a limited number of King Tigers with and without zimmerit. the web site "Achtung Panzer" has some good pic's.

I am pretty certain that the most widely used tank by the german forces was the Panzer IV H and J, I would have to dig my old book out but If I remember right it said something like 5-600 of them were used, divided up among the Kampfgroups, I know it said that there were only a very limited number of Tigers used, and an even more limited number of Tiger IIs. I completely forgot what it said about the Panthers. I'll get back to you on that one

Approximately 45 Tiger II's and 200 Tiger I's out of about 1034 tanks, TD's and StuGs saw action during Wacht am Rhein. Only about 775 vehicles were serviceable at the start of the operation. Battle of the Bulge, Then and Now, lists the AFV strengths of the various units involved, most commonly they had near equal numbers of Panzer IVs and Panthers, and some with comparable numbers of StuGs making up for the shortages of MBTs. Panzerjager IV L/70s, Hetzers and about 45 Brummbars filled out the majority of the rest of the AFVs.
