Nicely done! Because those troopers were fighting for months out in the field, their divisional patches became very dull and dark (patches on your figures are very catchy due to they are very colorful and bright), so you may want to weather them to make it more dull.  Other than that, it looks great!

Thank you m1, the detail of the patches is very important...thank you for the advice...

Fabio,

If you can, watch Band of Brothers series and see the episode about Bastogne.  It will definitely give you better idea about condition and colors of well used dirty uniform and patches.

Two things.

First, and more importantly is a composition issue. You have one guy in a firing position meaning there's a target out tther who is potentially tagetting the GI's as well. You othen have two guys in the open with no indication they have any concern over being targets.

Secondly, the snow on your signs looks like marshmallow more than even the wettest of snows. This is especially noticeable on the turret in the second picture. That said, the snow on the ground looks very good.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

I've watch that complete serie during my vacation and man.... that's good.  Plenty full of iformation and I'm sure not a lot of innaccuracies.

No matter where you go ....... there you are.

That's a nice dio there Fabio.  I have the same comments as the others about the firing soldier and the mashmallow look of the snow.  The snow on the ground looks realistic and I love the imprint of the tank in the snow.  Overall, its a nice build.Thumbs Up [tup]  And if you have a chance to watch "Band of brothers" you'll like it.

I still watch it once in a while.  It drives my wife crazy because she can't seem to understand why I am watching it for the 300th time.  Great series and I also enjoyed reading it as well.  It is sad that most of members of Easy Co have died since the show aired.

Now that's where the brilliantly overhauled "Sherman" ended up!

Now to the suggestions:
Agree with the previous posts on the snow.
With some fantasy you could imagine that the kneeling soldier is aiming at some deer or boar (think I saw that on Band of Brothers, too) for the dinner.
The figure painter in me asks for more contrast in the painting of the figures (mainly on the faces): try washing and dry brushing it's a simple technique that adds some depth to the figures.

Bottom line: you made a great job, but there is some room for improvement (hope I haven't been too hard).

I don't think its a problem, one guy simply more careful than the others, or is scanning the forest for threats. There could be a number of reasons other than an identified target. Good Dio though, just my My 2 cents [2c] 2cents.
