Hi Kenny.Through reading this & other forums I've oft heard about sand or emory paper.I found black 1000 grit is the right look for 1/35th scale. Then use grey weatering powders on the areas that are heavily trafficked areas.Apply it to the paper, trying to be uniformly, then blowing or shaking off the excess. You really don't even need adhesives,it'll stay put [ ever try cleaning a file ? ].I forgot, before that all, paint any traffic lines & let dry completly with a flat color of your choice. When it's all done & mounted [ I think spray adhesive like Hi-Tack gasket adhesive works well ], If you have border sand, grass ,Etc. mount them as you would other ground effect's. Try it,I think you'll find it appealing & accurate. ~~rudedog~~
