It looks to be a massive undertaking! Can you post more pictures?

i only up-loaded that photo a few moments ago and i could'nt get that image any larger.i am still testing the waters with this not so great digital camera.i will try more as i figure out the lighting some more.any tips on my photography?the dio. is four square feet of street corner that i call the occupation.every-thing you see in the photo is in various stages of completion.the panther d from dragon has a mostly scratchbuilt interior that i copied in styrene, from the tank workshop.the destroyed stuart is from academy.the building is foam, covered in plaster ,all the interior floors are from balsa and other woods.theres a stairway to the second floor, and one going to the cellar.a couple of hand made furnishings.a german radio set on the top floor.the tile roof is from corrugated cardboard that is peeled apart.the cobblestone street is rockhard with a pigment added, and scribed before it dries.the brickwork is all handmade from plaster.there is a lot of first time trial and error involved.as before more photos soon.

I'm guessing you linked the thumbnail. Try going back to your album and clicking on this to get the fullsize image. Then copy (by cllicking) the bottom of the three address that starts with [ img ]h t t p:// and ends with j p g [ / i m g ] then paste that here.

detailfreak,

I had the same problem with Photobucket.  Once I changed the size of my photos, they wouldn't let me change them back to larger sizes (or maybe I just don't know how to do it).  What I did was I deleted photos from photobucket, and then re-import pictures, then resize the pictures to fullsize, then right click, copy and then post up in FSM.  It will show as thumbnail size photos, but once you click on photos, they should turn into larger photo.

You had way too much code information in the post. It should look like this (without spaces)

[ i m g ] h t t p ://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w1/g-earl828/DSCI0011.jpg [ / i m g ]

Aside from the technical difficulties, this thing looks fantastic. I hope you figure the pic posting problems, and get some larger shots, and many more angles. This dio really looks like something I'd love to get a closer look at.

One thing I have noted, with Photobucket, is that you don't have to actually do the CTRL C bit to copy the required info; simply clicking in the IMG code box automatically does this for you. I often prep my posts in a wordprocessor so I can double-check what info I am about to post; this may help.

In an attempt to find something that might help I took the liberty of finding out what camera you were using from the EXIF data of the pictures in your album. A Polaroid PDC-3030 is what I beleive. I downloaded a PDF of the manual, from the Polaroid website, and it does not seem that you can do anything to alter the focusing on this model. The best I can suggest is not to get too close when you take your pictures and then edit them in a paint package. If you use the highest resolution setting you should be able to crop the section you want and get better depth of field (more in focus).

I hope I have not hurt your feelings with my comments but if you want to see what can be acheived with cropping; all of the photos in this collection... http://furnessscalemodellers.fotopic.net/c1246782.html were prepped this way.

Looking forward to seeing more pics

Dave

Well By the looks of the Diorama you have been working into some pretty detailed work. I think that three years is kind of long but good work always take's more work and determination then rushed so take your time. I still have a Diorama from 2 years ago and I haven't even finish shaping it, play with the idea's in your head and all will come together.
