Thanks so much for all the nice comments ya'll. I'm looking forward to seeing that Henry J scene. Hey, tell ya what, the water truck just pulled in and the pack down laps are almost done so why don't everybody load up their fastest stuff and come on over. I've got hot dogs and BBQ in the concession stand and all the lights work for a change. LOL  It's 4/10 mile red clay and a 6.34 gear is just about right so ya'll come.

mitchum you sure do some great work. I was surfin' thru the Scale Auto site the other day and was trully inspired by the classic race cars you have posted there. Not to mention your knowaldge of that era(and your((and your sons'))current involvement). Makes me want to build a Good 'ol Race Car. Priceless indeed!  Keep it up and don't quit posting those excellent Pics!

Built a new larger shop and decided I needed a secure storage lot for my project cars. Added the wooden privacy fence with popsicle sticks and the narrow planks are from  corn dogs.

I bought a couple of 36" steel rods at the home improvement store to cut and bend for the fence frame and the gates. Added the "chain link" using metal taken from an old air cleaner from my full size truck with a little fine solder to attach it to the frames and make hinges.

Or, as they say on the credit card commercials--------------

Wooden fencing-$.00
Pipe for fence framing-$3
"Chain link fence"-$.00
Fooling my full size racing friends with my pics- PRICELESS!!!

Different angle showing the shop too.
