I agree, absolutely stunning.  Any Idea what kind of vehicle that is?  not the sunken ship.  And are any kits available for it?  Ive never seen it before.  If you know, feel free to PM me so we dont hijack this guys thread! Whistling [:-^]

That may be the single coolest diorama I've ever seen!  And so well executed.

Think I'll take up macrame.

That would probably be the best way. Unless you are able to keep all sides perfectly flat and smooth, the 'underwater' view from those vantage points would be severely distorted. It is doubtful that anything removable would leave you with such a surface. Think about an aquarium filled with water....the view from any of the 4 sides is much clearer than it is from the top.

I want to create a lakeshore with a underwater view. I want to show depth of the water on one side of the diorama. In other words, . . .I want the viewer to be able to see under the water from the front and, to an extent, the two sides. I am wondering what I can use to hold the "water" back while drying but than it can be removed after the water has dried without affecting the water's appearance on the sides and front. I know that I have to pour the "water" multiple times because I am looking for a depth of about 3 to 4 inches.

Thanks for the help!
