Thanks!

That is some impressive work with cotton and painting.

I dunno, I've seen a few dios in person where techniques like these were employed to simulate smoke, fire, etc. For some reason, they always look pretty good in a composed picture, but in person, just don't have the same impact, at least to me. I always have to stand back a bit to appreciate it.

The pictures were posted 4 years ago. The guy may no longer even have the same e-mail. I don't remember seeing any recent posts from him, either.

Did anyone save these pics? The links are dead, as the author probably took them down...

There was no real description with this diorama. Just the pics. I have emailed PanzerKiel through the site and kindly asked if he would share his methods. Hopefully i hear back soon and either get the good man to join us or be able to pass on some helpful hints.....

Smoke and Fire

Hey all. Just thought you should see this diorama. I know that there have been many posts cocerning how near impossible it is to make realistic smoke and fire. But this diorama gets it mighty close. I found it on the Kitmaker website.

All credit to the builder who goes by the name of PanzerKiel. The diorama is named Za Rodinu
