Model Maniac, I must say that I'm both relieved, and impressed, with your response here. You could have been offended by the direction that this thread had inadvertantly taken; instead you chose to recognize the common love for our pets that we all share, and have joined in to celebrate the "Love of Doogs"! BRAVO!
Your doogs are adorable! I can't pick a favorite! I hope they all live long and healthy lives, and thank you for joining us all in posting them here! Make a Toast Yeah!! Big Smile
You're very welcome, the doog! When I saw others posted their dogs' pics I just wanted to show mine too.
I hope all the dogs whose pics are shown here will all live long and happy lives!

MM, your dog Brown looks just like mine. But he sounds like he uses more of his brain than mine does...Banged Head Mine just likes to get wet and eat (a real chow hound)... Still has not yet gotten the fetch thing down yet...
stikpusher, sure, it's the same species. Your dog is two years old, may be too old to train now (or not?)
But fetching things should be in his DNA, hence his species name "golden retriever". You may try again now. ;-)

MM I vote for Bank. He may be fierce but he looks really smart. Thanks for posting the guys, and I said also before, tho it got lost in the barking, very nice thought provoking diorama.
Bank seems to be the herd leader in the house, he often treatens Brown. Yesterday evening Brown went
missing, I looked around the house and called for him but he didn't show up. I was puzzled because all
the gates were closed, he couldn't go out anywhere. It was Bank's threatening sound that revealed where
Brown was. He was in the narrow passage between the kitchen and the side wall of my house, hunting
for rats. I've never seen him there befor, there is no entry at the front side.

Here's my buddy Auggie. My wife Joanne found him laying in a median strip on a major road near here after being hit by a car. She took him to the vet and we posted notices all over looking for his owner. To no avail. That was 3 years ago and he's a huge part of our family now.
Cute dog you've got there! Auggie surely is a lucky dog!

To continue the off-road drive, here's a pic of my doog, Deacon. I got him when he was a puppy, from a girl whose husband was going to take him out and kill him, b/c they couldn't take care of a newborn baby and a doog. Sigh The first night I took him home, he slept in the crook of my neck, and he's been there ever since!
That's a real touching story! I wonder how did the original owner got the dog at first. Anyway, Deacon
is now in the best place he can find. My dogs are not that lucky. They're not allowed into the inner house,
not to mention my bed.

I must be a bad person, insofar as I reckon that the various dog pictures have actually contributed postively to this thread...Cool
Well, dogs are man's best friends. On the day I took the pictures of my dogs, I took 4 pictures total.
I have shown 3, here's the last one:
