WWII wooden airfield control towers

I resorted to playing my DVD of "Catch 22" and pausing on the scenes where they are in/around the control tower and making sketches. Try to Google Image Search "WWII airfield control tower." I just did it and got a bunch of pics of control towers WWII to present, including airfield layouts and other stuff. 

Not sure what Theatre of Operations you are going for, but if you are doing the ETO/England, the movie "Memphis Belle" has a tower, but it's not wooden.  (By the way, there are few pics on the Google results that look like the tower in this movie.)
