I agree that the guy running along side the tank isn't exactly ready for action. He's more likely to get plugged in the head, like his comrade lying face down, who's about to be pancaked by the T-34. I wanted to depict the Soviets as just coming into contact with the enemy, as their lead scout just got picked off by a sniper. I need to add some guys jumping off the tank to better portray this action.
The German waiting in ambush has also lost his buddy who was supposed to be providing cover while he rushed the tank with his Hafthohlladung 3 magnetic mine. I stole him for duty on another diorama and have yet to build his replacement. I don't think Mr. Suicide Mine Charge has much of a chance without some covering fire.....
