One of my smaller dioramas

Looks good from what I can see, the guy in the rear doesn't really look ready for action though. But, could you post some more pics of the overall dio?

"Smaller dio"? Wow, that would qualify as one of my HUGE dios! (I make 'em relatvely small)

I think this has a really pleasing color harmony, and great composition and finish. The tank looks great for that old dog! (doog?!)

The rubble looks perfect too, all inall a really nicely composed and executed scene!

      Just go's to prove that those old kit's,when done like this one,can really make the grade.

I don't know if you look at the first pic he is in motion.  He doesn't look ready in the last one I have to agree.

All in all that is a really good looking dio.  I wish I could do somthing like that.

I agree that the guy running along side the tank isn't exactly ready for action. He's more likely to get plugged in the head, like his comrade lying face down, who's about to be pancaked by the T-34. I wanted to depict the Soviets as just coming into contact with the enemy, as their lead scout just got picked off by a sniper. I need to add some guys jumping off the tank to better portray this action.

 The German waiting in ambush has also lost his buddy who was supposed to be providing cover while he rushed the tank with his Hafthohlladung 3 magnetic mine. I stole him for duty on another diorama and have yet to build his replacement. I don't think Mr. Suicide Mine Charge has much of a chance without some covering fire.....

Lot's of good parts here, nicely painted, good use of space.

I'd say the kneeling guy with the MG is more out of place. He's in action while everyone else is pretty casual. With him not being there, there would be more tensio at having the German behind the wall.

Very nice job indeed. Composition looks spot on. As Grizz said, I wish i could do that.

I think I'll try rearranging some of the figures and see if I can't improve the dynamics a bit.

Here is one more photo I forgot to post;

I'm building one myself. I can say that yours look really nice and inspiring. I ended up knocking off one fo the PE tanks and then kinda lost interest....think I'll pick it up again. Thanks!

One thing I have done though is replace the grab-handles with thin gauge wire
