Your not the only one with a Schiwimmwagen idea, onriganly it was a hetzer crew getting there picture taken but there who be 5 people, hetzer only had 4 crew, so I figure the idea could be a Hetzer stop at a intersection and met a schwimmwagen they chat alittle and before they leave the crew wants picture but the impatient schimmwagen drive wants to go, the partner takes the picture and leaves.

He's a basic idea.

Althought the Hetzer is the main point of the dio (since it will look so good) but the schwimmwagen is too add interest, and explain for the 5th person.

Ha, i have an idea now for my Schwimwagen and Kubelwagen. I am thinking....put the Kubelwagen swamped and stalled in a river with the occupants standing on top. Have the Schwimwagen motoring past with the occupants looking on and pointing, maybe laughing. The title could be....'you should have bought a Schwimwagen....'

  Hmmmmm.....future project..Whistling [:-^]

Hi!  I'm new here because my great uncle passed away and he left us over 1000 kits that we are trying to find homes for.

I have a 1/35 scale diorama accessory set III on ebay if you are interested along with a lot more.  Only $6.99.

Thanks!

How bout an officer in his Schwimmwagen with a wagen load of hot chicks passing some poor shmucks, in the opposite direction, headed for the front?

how about a schwimmwagen floating by a stuck klubewagen { or have it on one side of a road that is underwater as the schwimmenwagen crosses

I love the Schwimmwagen, it was probably used more out of the water than in. A lot of officers used them as runnarounds all over the front line so i see no reason at all why it couldnt be used in an 'Under fire' dio. It would be cool as it would appear out of its normal habitat.

Man, I wouldn't think a Schwimmwagen would get that close to the front lines to be taking fire--I would really see if you could get some artificial water and do a dio of it floating in the water--you could even put it in a muddy river made from plaster with a tinted-epoxy top coat?

THAT would be cool, and eye-catching as hell!
