I've started making terrain/foliage for a diorama I'm working on, and most forest scenes don't look complete without some trees. So, I decided to man up and give it a try. I used the Wire Method which can be found on Armorama, and started with a small tree as a test. I used spackle/wall putty/filler for bark, painted it to resemble white birch, and used Woodland Scenics Clump Foliage, airbrushed lighter green to vary the color. I probably should have the trunk thicker, but this was just a test.
