If the lenses was 24mm (very wide angle) then the distance would be fine. I thought the lenses was 50mm which is standard normal lenses.

that distance would be fine, using his Leica and a 24MM lens he would capture the crew and if the lens is stopped down he could keep the Hetzer in focus at the same time. Wide angle lenses are our friends Wink [;)]

Many thanks for your kind comments and compliments! Sorry that it takes so long for me
to respond. I agree with all of the doog's comments and I think I chose the wrong tank.
I should have chosen a German AFV instead, to be used as burned victim in the background.
But nevermind, I still have another box of this Master Box's figure set and I can have
AI do it again later on. ;-)

It looks prettey good but if you wanted accurate then you should have put the guys on the tank for the photo, show the might of the Soviet Union and all that.

Good job on the snow though, I think you did a great job on the turret since if you look at old pictures the winds would actually freeze the snow on the sides of vehicles especially if the vehicle wasn't moving during the blizzard.

Over all I have too say good job, it looks pretty good.

Helicopters can't really fly-they are just so ugly that the Earth immediately repels them. Photobucket

What Doog just said. The guys on the ground look like me when I come in from an interim snow blowing session in the middle of a storm. It doesn't seem likely they'd look like that for a posed picture.

The face on the guy holding the MG is pretty rough.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

Well, it's built and finished nicely enough, but don't you think the Russian propaganda photographers would have used the tank somehow in the shot? I have to imagine that they would have had the soldiers posed in front of the tank rather than a bush.

The house is excellent, The snow looks pretty good, though I'm not sure it would cling to the turret side like that, like a beard....?

I think that the TC looks a little too disengaged from the scene and too "stiff". It would perhaps have been better to put him in the posed-photo too?
