"Seem's awfully quiet don't you think" Finished Dio-more pics as requested

Hello all, just a few pictures of my latest dio attempt.

Items used are Tamiya Cromwell and British patrol set, Miniart's Normandy house, Italeri House corner, Academy Destroyer set, VLS wrought iron fence and Plus Model "Dragon's Teeth" and bags.

I used Sculptamold for the ground work with Woodland Scenics ground cover.

I really enjoyed doing this as I popped my cherry on a few things ( Sculptamold and Miniart buildings )

Thanks for looking, look forward to read all comments, good and badBig Smile [:D]

WOW! Incredible work, here. Let me be the first to say: I FRICKIN' LOVE THAT BABYROOM WALLPAPER!! You attention to detail has paid off well. I'd love a clear shot of the Cromwell.

The muddy road is stunning, groundwork excellent. Figures look great and, again, I love that wallpaper!!!!

I only have a couple of suggestions: perhaps more dust and debris inside the houe (looks as if the floors have been swept), and some baseboards  in the rooms would put this one way over the top! The German field gear looks a tad rushed, maybe just a quick wash might get the point across.

But it's awesome without, that's just a wishlist...

Really nice from what I can see, but I'd really love to see an overview photo of the whole thing.

It doesn't look like you painted the Greman's field kits at all--straps and buckles on the canteens, mess kits. etc?

The painting on the rest of the buildings looks nice too, but we really need more objectively-framed photos to give you more helpful criticisms! A full shot of the Cromwell would be great too!

thanks for the feedback. Need to practice my figure painting skills a bit, keep forgetting little details. Tried to use as much natural light as i could, will take a couple of overhead shots and post them.

Thanks again for lookingMake a Toast [#toast]

MMC,

Fabulous work. Love the concept and the layout.  Your work is far beyond my ability to do....but not beyond my ability to offer comments!

The 'ABRI' wall looks too uniform.  Perhaps a wash to make the mortar pop out a bit.

The Panzerschreck needs something to make it look used.  Appears too clean right now.

And I think someone else already commented on the rest of the German gear.

Overall, fabulous work!!  A few more details and you have a masterpiece.

Nicely done and layed out MMC. Those soldiers should have paid more attention to their house clearing techniques...Whistling [:-^]
