Very nice pictures and models--I'm curious though, what are these figures? Are they like "G.I. Joe" figures? The clothes look real--obviously they're real fabric. But I've never seen anyone actually use figures like this in a dio; I didn't even know there was an accessories market for these kinds of figures--did you scratchbuild the houses and street?

Thank you for the compliment.

The building and street are scratch build. The figures are "Dragon" dolls Smile [:)] Please visit my website: military-modelling.klup.info and you can see a lot of 1:6 scale stuff.

There's a rather large aftermarket for battle barbies. We had a guy visit the club who at the time was running Connecticut Valley Insignia to show some of the stuff they offer. He had real leather jump boots selling for a hundred dollars. Either Lynn Kessler or Don Wynar, who co-wrote How to Paint Realistic Military Figures, once displayed conversions and repainted figures which included filling in all the joints for a very realistic effect.

Remember, if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy.

You guys do some cool stuff with these 1/6 scale figures.

DOOG....  a while back someone posted a link to a 1/6 scale site. It had pics of a German railway diorama that was built up. Talk about amazing! The train, the goings on at the rail side, the huge amount of figures was awesome. I saved the site, but i am not on my computer(it is still packed away). If i get time i will go back and see if i can find the post. I will blow you away....

Sorry Hans, not trying to take the attention away from your own work. Yours is great too...

Man how big would that Dora Rail Gun be? That has to be close to 4 metres long, maybe 5!! That is one beast of a model!!
