First Diorama WIP

Just finished making a partial "hardwood floor" for the second floor. And just poured some plaster to break up for rubble. Will try to take more pictures tonight and post them. Thanks for the help and kind words, everyone! I really do appreciate it!

Edited to add a still from the film showing the street (there are other shots in the film showing the remnants of cobblestone).

It would most certainly be mostly mud. From pictures, as well as looking at the film, it is a cobblestone street that has seen bombing, as well as steel tracked vehicle, so a good portion of the cobble is gone. Add to that the rain in the area during the time this "action" took place, it would pretty much be a rocky mudbath.

   Looks good so far. Would the street be dirt as you have depicted? I can understand if had a building that resembled a farm house of some sort. The building you have used looks more like one you would find on a paved street. Hey, i'm no expert on european streets and buildings, so you may have a valid diorama setting. It just looked odd to me at first glance.

   I look foward to seeing more.
