Definitely going to keep and eye out for that Miniart kit.

Your own groundwork is good too, looks like a great start.

Wow! I like the MiniArt kit! I have seen these in my LHS and never gave them much thought. That base would look really nice with my Panther and panzer riders. A Sdkfz 251 would be superb. Thanks for posting this.

New projects/ dio bases
Posted by waterboy on Saturday, March 8, 2008 12:41 PM

Hi guys, I have started a couple of new projects. Namely 2 new dio bases for my next dios. The first is a Miniart vacuformed kit. Its called cobblestone street with park fence. Very simple kit. I have bought a few of these vacuformed kits and I wanted to practice with this easy one. After assembling, I mounted it on an old picture frame for a base and then primed it.

The second base is a country road.  I took an old heller vacuformed base an attached ito a wooden base.  I'm now in the process of adding celuclay groundwork to it.

I'm still in the process of decided what vehicles and figures i'm going to use in the dio's. I'll keep you informed as I go. :D
