This kit took me a full month longer than the tamiya F4U-1A - and I didn't weather it (not much anyway),

Man I believe that! Thanks for the good word brother. I can guarantee you that I'll never build another one of these. lol

What is it about this kit?  I built in grade 6, and again as a nostalgia build when I picked the hobby up again.  I found it more frustrating second time around, especially those circular pieces that hold the gear door to the strut!

It'll be Tamiya for corsairs from now on for me.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.
