Both are excellent kits, although I do like the way the Hasegawa intakes fit together and the somewhat finer engraving. That seam running down the middle of the canopy is in fact a necessary measure to get a canopy that correctly captures the bulged shape of the real thing.
One does need to polish the offensive mould parting line out of the canopy, but that is easy to do with a couple fine grits of sandpaper (400 then 600, then 1200, then 1500, then 2000, then a nail buffing file, finished off with some plastic polish on a dremel tool with a cotton buffing wheel. There are other methods, but just compare the canopy to the Revell/Monogram one and youj'll see the difference.
