Finishing a B-36- paint question.
I'm very close to finishing a 1:72 scale B-36, and have a question about color. The real thing was made of magnesium, with pressurised sections skinned in aluminum. Because I don't have a top quality airbrush, and I don't trust my own painting skills, I've deciede (to simulate the magneseum) to overspray the entire thing in one color of silver, then fill in the pressurised sections with Bare-Metal Foil. My question is- what would be the best color to simulate the magnesium? As I said before, I can only use one color, so all the perfectionists out there, be warned!
Also, I'm pretty sure the Peacemaker was made of aluminum and magneseum, but if I'm wrong, bear with me! :)
