Way back in February 1982, I had just gotten out of the Army and had yet to secure a job, so I gave airplane rides on the weekends at my hometown airport. A girl with whom I'd went to school with had just started work there as a receptionist, so a good 45 minutes of each day was spent listening to her go on about how much she'd like to go out on a date with some fellow who lived a few doors down.

On about the third Saturday of giving rides, before the first car pulled in the parking lot, she said; "Oh you have to get going, what do you think I should do?" (referring to her delima), and I replied; "Well, what you REALLY should do is come and go flying with me."

Well, we celibrated our 21st Anniversary last Halloween! So yes, taking your Lady up in the clouds on your first date, definately gives you an edge!
