Here is a shot from Life of an Israeli F-16 en route to Lebanon during the 2006 fighting. A pretty light load out- What look like AIM-9s on the wingtips, a centerline fuel tank, and  either a MK.84 or 2000lb JDAM under each wing on the no.3 and no.7 hardpoints.

If doing an Air to Ground loadout, you need minimal air to air resources. You want what ever you haul to be light, so the Sidewinders are typically used on the tip rails. Remember there are aircraft loaded out in the strike package specifically tasked for the air to air role. The A-A on a A-G strike bird is primarily defensive.

Fuel is crucial as the bombs and rockets cause a lot of drag which consumes fuel. Also IAF fighters don't travel all that far to do their strikes, unless of course it is some sort of special raid. Remember Israel is smaller than the state of Vermont.

Phil, your're god send, first photo proof I've seen that Isreali Sufa's use pylon's 4 & 6 for more than just fuel tanks. I mean I fugured they did, I just hadnt seen proof. Only negative about that site is that its only Isreali weapons.

Stick - the kits an F-16I Sufa So I was gonna go Isreali besides I think their cammo rates number two F-16 wise (Alasken F-16 camo rates 1, is also my next F-16 desire). So time frame nationality wise v's weapon load I was thinking (without buying extra parts, the kinetic only supplies standard ie not Isreali weapons).

Here is my current thoughts (if its legit?). I'm kinda thinking about getting some python missiles instead of sidewinders.

1 Amraam

2 Sidewinder or Amraam (I Think is A2A only otherwise would go Mavericks)

3 Either 2 GBU-12 Paveways or 2 GBU-38 JDAM's (500lb)

4 Either 1 GBU-24 Paveway or 1 GBU-31 JDAM (2000lb)

5 Fuel

6 Either 1 GBU-24 Paveway or 1 GBU-31 JDAM (2000lb)

7 3 Either 2 GBU-12 Paveways or 2 GBU-38 JDAM's (500lb)

8 Sidewinder or Amraam

9 Amraam

You're welcome. I think I have found more variety of load outs just from looking online at different photos. The main deciding factors are gonna be time frame and nationality. Good luck! Can't wait to see what you do with yours!Toast

Hi Andrew,

This is not a "what goes on what pylon" list, but more of a general rundown on what can be carried by IAF '16's  http://www.israeli-weapons.com/weapons/aircraft/f-16i/F-16I.html

Stickpusher thanks for the links. I had already seen the f-16.net  one, for a site devoted to said plane it has more info on other aircraft loads, probably different if you asked a direct question on their forum. I have enough info I think now to start planning a load out then ask for confirmation on validity before I get to that point on build.

Part of your ordinance loadouts will depend upon user nationality and era. Here a couple links that could be helpful.

Desert Storm loadouts are thouroughly detailed here

http://www.dstorm.eu/pages/loadout/f-16.html

And from F-16.net a few different options more current
