Hi I have a kit by Hasegawa an have a missing part also I have tried Stevens international an called the number it sent me to a company called  Horizons Hobbies but when you call them nobody answers the phone an you get a recorded message so after experiencing that I was wondering did Hasegawa go out of business hense it is hard to reach them in North America because other model companys such as Airfix respond to customers with missing parts an so does AMT an others but the company  Hasegawa doesnt seem to have a parts replacement service in North America which sucks so besides Horizons Hobbies an Steven international importers who is in charge at hasegawa for contacting to get replacement parts for their kits?

Went outside and got the mail today and found my replacement parts from Tower Hobbies. It only took a week to get them after they originally shipped me the wrong parts. I guess the number works after all. Good luck to everone else on getting Hasegawa replacement parts !

It took about 2 months to get my parts, and when the package arrived, half of the order was missing. I emailed Mary Ann and she resent the order which came in the following week! Why in the heck did it take two months for the first order and a week for the second corrected one?Hmm I'm just glad I got the issue resolved and I only was charged the one time shipping fee. On the other hand, I emailed Tamiya that I bought one of their models on Ebay with the PE sheet and a couple of parts missing and asked them if I could purchase the missing items from them. In about 3 weeks I had all the parts I needed free of charge. Big Smile

Well I got my parts yeterday when I got home from from off-roading. But I was sent the wrong parts. I wanted the Canopy and got an entire sprue of wrong parts. However, I loved the speed at which I got these wrong parts. It bodes well for getting replacement parts from Hasegawa after not being able to get squat for months.

I called the number this afternoon, and had to select option #3.  I talked to Casie, and Mary Ann is supposed to call me back tomorrow.  I'll post how I get along!

I contacted Mary Ann at PartsSupport@unitedmodel.com  , It took a while but I got parts for 3 Hasegawa kits. Shoot her an email if your other option fails.

My apologies if you thought I was offended.  Just curious and I thought I was missing something.  My thanks as well for the number.  This damn yankee is always too abrupt in my posts.

Thanks for giving us that number.  I have been trying to get some replacement Hasegawa parts for over a year now, planning on calling that number when I finish typing this.  Thanks again!

Hasegawa Replacement Parts!
Posted by Shipbuilderjake on Tuesday, July 6, 2010 5:15 PM

Posted this on a previous thread. Bought the F-15C kit from Hasegawa and ruined the canopy attempting to buff out the seam. I then went on a 2 week run around trying to replace it. This is what I have come up with so far. I found out DML USA no longer supplies Hasegawa Models anymore, and the supplier was in limbo for a bit don't know excactly how long but It did "P.O" alot of people. Tower hobbies/ aka Hobbico absorbed Hasegawa quickly and is now the U.S supplier of thier kits. From extensive reading i found out that there is no way to replace a Hasegawa part until now. My good friend Jon at Capitola Hobbies gave me a phone number to call. The lady on the other end then gave me another number. Here we go again right more circle talk going to get nowhere. I decided to call anyways 1-217-398-8970 option #5 it did not refer to Hasegawa at any point however someone did pick up. I gave them my name, address, phone number, Kit number, and part number i.e sprue number and he said he would have it shipped within a day or two. This all happened to day @ 1345 pacific time so I will wait and see if I hit paydirt or not and will keep everyone posted when and if I receive the part!
