This is a model that is some time on the bench. The Mosquito Mk VI of the Tamiya 1/48 scale.
The version chosen will be the FB. Mk. VI of 487 Squadron.
Started by bombs bay.
I took and painted small deposits that go in landing gear.

That's a nice kit - easy build. I did the night fighter version. The only trouble I had was getting the decal of the interior canopy frame to stick. I had to use a bit of future to "glue" it down. Also, maybe pick up some Eduard canopy masks - I used them for this kit and they fit great.
I also have this kit in my stash and will be watching.
got two hiding somewhere. these build threads give me lots of inspiration.

The compartment bombs ready.
Also painted the landing gear wells.
Looking great. I have this one in the stash as well, the one with the car and crew. I'll be watching this one so keep the pics coming.

I love the Mosquito. I built this kit a couple of yeras ago, and I can say it´s a fantastic kit, accurate and with very fine detail.

I completed the landing gear.
The wheels.
Nice work on the Mossie! The undercarriage units are quite detailed.
On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister
Doesn't just about every A/C builder have a Mossie in the stash or shelf? Looking great, will also keep tabs on this build.
Science is the pursiut of knowledge, faith is the pursuit of wisdom. Peace be with you.
On the Tarmac: 1/48 Revell P-38
In the Hanger: A bunch of kits
Thank you for your feedback.
I started the interiors.
Coming along nicely!
26carlos, very nice job on yours.
I built this kit not too long ago. It's a fairly easy build, but be wary of the decals - they're very thick. I had 3 coats of Future on mine, and I still got silvering.
The biggest shame is that all of the beautiful detail that goes into the bomb bay and the landing gear, gets hidden inside the body.

Not bad...your sub-assemblies could do for a little dry-brushing and filtering...
I always love the Mossie, strangely enough I do not have one in the stash. But seeing these pics make want to have one.
More advances in interiors.
The dashboard instruments, the joystick.
Seats and seat belts.
All glued. Missing transmitter and the receiver.
Excellent work! That's really looking fine. Beautiful details, great paint work. Now, I want one but all I've got is the Monogram offering...

Looking VERY good so far!

I completed the interiors.
The interiors now glued in the fuselage. I glued the two halves of the fuselage and applied putty diluted in acetone.
Great job !!! What Silver or Aluminum paint did you use on the landing gear? The gear look neat. I have this kit in my stash as well. If I can get it to look anywhere near as good as yours I'll be happier than the " Pig in a Mud Puddle " Once again, it looks great so far. Bob
Hmm, i may have to pick this kit up now that we have the real deal tootling round the country.
