Looks great G.  I love the Merlin P-40s.

Very appealing!  Nice work on the camouflage--as well as the base.

Finally based my P-40F

It's been a long time coming.  The model has been done for a while; it took me forever to base.  I originally shot pictures inside, then tried outside in the sunlight; and I think the lighting is way better.  Also, I had been shooting with the model right on the driveway, but I thought the shadows looked too funny.  So, I placed the base on an upside down box.

This is AMT's P-40F Warhawk, painted las Richard Lander's while he served in the 315th Fighter Squadron, 324th Fighter Group.  I chose this as the 315th was involved (minimally) with the invasion of Sicily, and this subject was chosen for the 1943 Group Build.

On the bench:  Tamyia Mosquito Mk. VI for the '44 group build.  Yes, still.
