Hi everyone, I had these 2 models in my stash so decided to do a small diorama, all went well except for the decals, they were real hard to work with and even after micro sol, gunze setter and tamiya x-20A thinners would not set properly.
"Can you fly this plane and land it?...Surely you can't be serious....I am serious, and don't call me Shirley"
You can spin it by hand but it is not powered to spin by itself.
I love a diorama, such as this one ,depicted in the midst of action. You captured this very well. Great weathering on the P-51 as well, just right.
I'm finally retired. Now time I got, money I don't.
Yep, that's a fine looking dio, and well thought out.
Are those invasion stripes painted on? I've built that kit too and really like how colourful it is.
Chris
Yes I painted the invasion stripes, I knew the decal ones would be difficult to set.
Wlooks great. Wh at did you use for the camo netting?
It is actual net, but I had it for that long I don't remember if it was scale modelling net or just net, and then I sprayed it camo
Thanks,it really look right for 1/72
