silver prime

I absolutely am mystified by this. I am finishing the Tamiya 1:48 Raiden I think it is called. I tried something to replicate the boxart. It was worn and torn at the wing roots and various places with silver showing through. I did what I normally do which was to prime with silver. Came back with green top and grey bottom, let it dry and took my scribing tool and just started lightly scrapiung. Wallah, top coat comes off and there before my eyes is beautifil wear and tear in interesting places. No tape, pens, speckles, just bare metal lookin. I even went into panel lines, they look worn. This is one of my best yet. I love the look. Just futured it before I left for work. After decals I will try and get a phote. I love it!!!!
