That worked out very well!
Mike
Thanks Mike, the side mottle was done with a home made template I cut from cardboard with a sharp hobby knife. I held it over the surface about a half inch and sprayed a little at a time. Since the templates are so easy to make (it just takes about 30 minutes to draw and cut one) you can cheaply do a lot of different mottles.

Again, nice build. How did you apply the mottling to the fuselage sides? Very nice.
Tried twice to quote Raualduke with my replies, couldn't figure out how to do it.
I usually don't link the build log because its on my forum and I don't want it to seem like I'm trying to steal traffic, but this will prove I built it:

No it is not, it was built from a kit and has Eagle strike decals.
No it is not, it was a kit with Eagle scale aftermarket decals.
21stCT offered it as a kit as well as pre-built.
That is a prebuilt from a toy store,is it not? No offense ,I want one
Gorgeous paintwork Chris. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comments guys, you'd be angry also if you had to serve in a Russian winter!
Cool camo. The pilot looks a bit angry. Maybe his schnapps break got interrupted? Nice! Bob
Now that's nice, and a nice scheme as well. Don't see kits from these very often.
I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so
